Umm, I´d recommend you to try to get toonboom.
I use Macromedia flash pro 8, I do have CS4, but I´m finishing some projects first, but if I had to choose, I´d pick toonboom to start, but once you have started using flash, it´s hard to get used to other programmes, so you´d rather start using toonboom, it´s way more handy that most flash editions, for example, it has better design settings, as graphic spray, which allows to multiply a movieclip over and over the screen like a brush stroke, when trying it out, I really liked the feature as it was incredibly useful when making for example a bunch of flowers hitted by the breeze, the only shortcoming of toonboom is when making collabs, you´re gonna have trouble when converting files to .fla...
